Details are being worked out for the first ghost tour of South Orange, NJ in mid October. I will pin point houses in this Essex County community that have active spirits. Famed parapsychologist, Dr. Joanne D.S. McMahon will assist me in my task. For those of you who are not familiar with South Orange, it is a lovely area with many streets lined with old victorian homes, that look untouched with the passing of time. I received an email from Keith R. who wanted to know if ghosts can think? Keith, in answer to your question, yes they are capable of thinking. It seems when we are on their "turf" they are aware of our presence, they watch us and in some cases want to communicate with us. Generally speaking,we as humans at the first sign of a ghost scream and run away. As a psychic, I too am uneasy when confronted by a ghost. I'm face to face with a spirit of someone who died many years ago, now they want us, the living, to know something that troubled them in life. In response I try to communicate with the ghost either by voice or thought. Often times I'm able to comprehend their message and pass it on, hopefully resolving their ageless dilemma. So Keith, the next time you believe that a ghost is nothing more than a projection without thoughts or feelings, think again.
