What amazes me is people who love the paranormal invest in high dollar gadgets to help them detect ghosts.  In this age of instant gratification, push a button on your TV remote and have instant entertainment, reach into your pocket grab your cellphone and have worldwide communication and an information source that mirrors the combined knowledge of a library. With all this available at your fingertips it’s no wonder why people today have the patience of a ferret on speed.  This impatience extends to those who engage in what’s commonly called, “Ghost Hunting.”  So many want to drop down their credit card (only a few still use old style cash these days) to buy an electronic detector that will tell them the location of a ghost.  No waiting, no trouble, no research just a few beeps, maybe a flashing light and the search is over.  Money well spent.  Why not, you can ghost hunt in the early evening, find your ghost and maybe catch a movie later that night.  Isn’t life grand these days?

In the real world, accuracy of these devices remains dubious at best. If you’re serious in taking a stroll in the paranormal world, maybe you can take the road less traveled but proven worth the effort by the legends in the field.  One such pioneer is Edgar Cayce, (1877-1945) also known as the sleeping prophet.  He was known as a clairvoyant who had an ability to diagnose diseases and even suggest treatments for them.  He managed to do this all while being asleep! He was able to predict future happenings with remarkable accuracy such as the stock market crash, the start and end of World War II. Lest we forget Nostradamus (1503-1566) the French astrologer who published his book, Les Propheties seeing future happenings centuries into the future which included historic figures such as Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler, the dropping of atomic bombs and even the September 11th attacks. Let’s not forget, all those who said, “I had a bad feeling about this…” then acted on that feeling only to find out how lucky they were to act on that feeling.  Here is a good example, John Coffey was one of Titanic’s stokers. (A stoker is a person who feeds the huge furnaces on a ship with coal). He decided to jump ship in Queenstown when the tender ship pulled away (a tender ship is used to service larger ships with crews or supplies).  He hid on the tender deserting Titanic and shortly after returned safely to the Queenstown pier.  The reason for his desertion, he had a premonition of danger regarding the Titanic and had deserted for that reason.

What they all have in common is the lack of electronic detection gear.  My method in these matters, is to shelf your impatience, calm down, even meditate, and in time you’ll find a mental opening that lets you into a unseen world that unleashes powers of insight and detection.  I’ve never used an electric device in investigations, and am happy to say, with positive results.  In short, you are the most powerful detection device ever made. In time you’ll find that what I’ve said is right. Can’t say what direction you’ll end up with.  Ghost detecting, remote viewing, extreme sensitivity, psychometry (psychometry is knowing the history or memories by touching an object associated with them) just to name a few.

Why not give it a try.  Put down your electronics and give yourself a chance. You’ll be happy you did.
