Skeptics

There is an old saying, “There has never been a statue erected to honor a skeptic.” If you deal with controversial subjects like ghosts, psychic abilities, UFOs or Big Foot you’ll soon find skeptics challenging your beliefs. Skeptics are a different breed of cat, their knee jerk reaction to everything is to challenge the theory or evidence of every controversial subject submitted or talked about. Their mantra, “If I don’t have psychic abilities, no one else does.” “I’ve gone camping for over 20 years and never saw a big foot, so it’s all made up.” Sound familiar?
I presented to an audience about Time Slips and the talk went well. I personally experienced the phenomena and was so moved by it; I researched the phenomena and wrote a book about it. I even traveled to Liverpool, England where Time Slips are often reported. When I finished my presentation, out of the audience of 50, two skeptics approached me. One said he was a scientist and doesn’t believe it, the second added, “I only believe what I can see.” I answered, I know researchers working with subatomic particles and no one can see them either, but they’re there.
I am fortunate to have worked with people who have psychic abilities equal or greater than mine. Demonstrations of the psychic power I’ve witnessed is astounding. Many of these psychic tests were shielded from the public, and the results remain secret to this day. Sorry Mr. Skeptic, no one is going to waste their time trying to convince you of their findings. As expected, you’ll challenge the research, tests and the subjects involved because that’s what skeptics do. It’s in your DNA.
One skeptic I knew didn’t believe the earth is round but flat. No matter what evidence you presented to him, he wouldn’t accept it. How about skeptics who deny that we landed on the moon?
My advice, if you find a cause or belief to investigate, do so. You’ll always be confronted by skeptics; it can’t be helped. Not listening to these nay sayers is why the Wright Brothers flew at Kitty Hawk and why the electric light was invented.
If you succeed in your quest, they may erect a statue of you. Good luck.
