When psychic abilities are wasted

Law enforcement has a tough job protecting us, especially in today’s world where mass shootings unfortunately are common.  Too many times the bad guys get away with the crime even though our landscape is covered with cameras and alarms.  It may take just a clue or a hidden detail that was overlooked to help bring the culprit to justice.  Who better to help law enforcement than a “real” psychic?  I know what you’re thinking, don’t the police use them already?  No.

Years ago, I had my first encounter with solving a vicious crime.  A young woman was brutally raped, beaten and left for dead.  The F.B.I. posted signs in town looking for the suspect.  I glanced at the sign and knew the suspect was in the neighboring city and not in town.  I knew every detail of who it was, where he was from and where he was hiding.  My parapsychologist friend called the F.B.I. and asked if they would like my help, they agreed.  She gave them all the information I psychically saw and shortly after, they were on their way.  They found him where I said he was, and he admitted to doing the crime. I was happy, the victim who survived the beating was happy and the case was quickly closed.  A nice feather in the cap of the local F.B.I. office.  With this success, you would guess my phone would be ringing nonstop. Well, you figured wrong. 

It seems sometimes I don’t get the message and believe I can help.

Another lesson: A woman I knew called me to help find a missing grandfather of her friend. He was at a little league game and just walked off.  She told me he was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and at times would just walk away.  I saw his photo on the news and shortly after, knew where he was. I asked the woman who called me to tell the family I will help find the grandfather, but they must call me and ask for my help.  I am not allowed to just go out and find someone who is lost.  If I found him, they will think I kidnapped him for the publicity or reward.  If the family calls me, and asks for my assistance, I can actively try to find him.

Two days went by and no call.  I asked the woman why the family didn’t call me?  She said the family has more faith in the State Police than a psychic. Finally, I saw visions of the grandfather tangled in briar bushes and that he was weak and dying.  I told the woman where they could find him, time was running out. She called, and they wouldn’t take what I said seriously.  Later that day, on the news, the grandfather was found dead exactly where I said he was, and the report mentioned that his body was tangled in briar bushes. I was devastated.  If only they had listened to me, he would have lived. Days later, I called the woman and asked her why they didn’t call me?  Her answer, they said because he had Alzheimer’s disease he would have to be hospitalized, and they thought it was a terrible way to end his life. I should mention grandfather was wealthy.

This is not just a few incidents, I volunteered a number of times to help law enforcement and although it was later found what I said was 100 percent accurate, they didn’t take advantage of the information.  One policeman said, “If we listen to you and solved the case, the taxpayer will say, why do we have a police department, we should just hire you.”

The bottom line, I tried to help and was rejected.  I never asked for compensation, I just wanted to assist the police.  What a shame, that is why I start off by saying, when psychic abilities are wasted. Sad.
